Justin “Hooch” Craig Turner a resident of Fairmount, Georgia passed away unexpectedly on October 14, 2023. He was born on June 28, 1982, in Rome, Georgia his parents Danny Turner and Pam Otting Turner. Justin is survived by his mother, Pam Turner and her husband Darryl Dover as well as his father, Danny Turner and his wife Kathy Carlisle. He is also survived by his brother, Alex Turner along with his niece Bella Turner and nephew, Kohn Turner.
Justin had a passion for fishing and playing golf which brought him joy throughout his life. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, pursuing these hobbies whenever he had the opportunity. A funeral service was held in Justin’s honor at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Bart Black officiating the ceremony. Following the service, Justin was laid to rest at the Hayes Cemetery in Adairsville, Georgia.
Before the funeral, friends and loved ones had the opportunity to pay their respects during the visitation hours from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 23, 2023, at the funeral home. During the funeral service, several individuals served as pallbearers, including Jonathan Martin, Tyler Warren, Joseph Nelson, Taff Wren, John Clayton, Neal Howell and Michael Black. These individuals had the honor of carrying Justin’s casket, symbolizing their final tribute to their beloved friend.
Justin “Hooch” Craig Turner will be remembered for his love of fishing, his skill on the golf course and the impact he made on the lives of those who knew him. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who had the privilege of crossing paths with him during his life. May he rest in peace.
